AKA:
COBWEBS Directed by: Gary Jones PLOT:
A NSA project involves injecting alien DNA into a tarantula, code-name Mother-In-Law. It gets ugly when she escape injecting one of the astronaughts with an egg. Growing to monstreous size it runs amuck in the secret and inpenitable base. Bad timing for a junior reporter trying to prove the government involvement with alien cover ups. For her and her crew are trapped within the base and if the guards don't kill them, Mother-In-Law might.
OPINION:
This is just 50's style fun, it has it camperer moments. But that what makes it fun. The style of a 50s' movie with the effects and paradnoia of the new century.

(1-10 IN THIS CASE 10 BEING WORST)
ON THE POSTIVE SIDE: + FUN (It's a fun 1950's style movie with the best of the new century)
+ JUMPS (Plenty of dark halls where the Mother-In-Law can jump out at you, ala "Resident Evil" games)
+ EFFECTS (Great effects that were creepingly real)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE: - MOTHER-IN-LAW'S OBJECTIVE (They never explained why they were injecting a spider with alien DNA. What was the objective of Projective of Mother-In-Law?) |
