PLOT:

WHEN A DRAGON EMERGES OUT OF A MINE IT CREATES A SPAWN THAT NEARLY DESTROYS MANKIND.  YEARS LATER A GROUP OF SURVIVORS TRY TO STAY ALIVE WHILE STARVING FEARING TO LEAVE THE PROTECTION OF AN OLD CASTLE.

AN AMERICAN SOLDIER ARRIVES AND TELLS THEM HE HAS FOUND A WAY TO STOP THE DRAGONS ONCE AND FOR ALL AND NEED MEN.  BUT CAN IT WORK??

OPINION:

AMAZING EFFECTS IS THE BACKBONE OF THIS MOVIE, BUT THE HUMAN CHARACTERS ARE ON THE WEAK SIDE.  ALSO I WAN'T CRAZY ABOUT DRAGONS BEING THE BAD GUYS AGAIN.  JUST LAZY WRITING.

I GIVE IT 7 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE:

+ GREAT EFFECTS (Realistic effects and explosions)
+ COOL DRAGONS  (The Dragons in this is very good)
+ BATTLE (realisitic battles between men and dragon)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE:

- WEAK HUMAN CHARACTERS (The human characters needed allot of work.  They were 2-D sterotypes)
